Patchetts Green is a conservation area which lies on the edge of the Green Belt around Hilfield Lane, Pegmire Lane and Summerhouse Lane.
Neighbouring areas include the conservation areas of Round Bush, Letchmore Heath and Aldenham. Key features include the Village Green, The Three Compasses pub and restaurant, Patchetts Equestrian Centre, the Camphill Village Trust community at Delrow and the Hari Krishna Temple at Bhaktivedanta Manor.

Patchetts Forum was established in Spring 2006 to enable local people and representatives of local organisations to meet and discuss matters of local interest in a friendly and constructive way.

The Forum is also a vehicle for organising local events on the Village Green.
Weather!
6th April 2008 saw about 2 inches of snow fall in the early morning. Tuesday 22nd April was the first day for the temperature to reach 21 degrees and with glorious sunshine. What a contrast!. With the 'Armed Forces Welcome Day planned for the holiday Monday 5th May everyone was praying for good weather.

Bank Holiday Monday 5th May

"Armed Forces Welcome Day"

The 'Armed Forces Welcome Day' was enjoyed by the many families and people of all ages who came to Letchmore Heath and Patchetts Green on 5th May. It was also successful in raising over £2000 for the 'Army Benevolent Fund' from donations, grants and takings on the day and a £1000 contribution directly to the charity from the Hertsmere 'Mayor's Fund'. A more detailed report will be posted soon but meanwhile for a few pictures see 'events'.
